State government serves many needs of the citizens of Nebraska, and should seek to provide the highest quality service while being a responsible steward of tax dollars. Mike Foley has a proven record of holding government agencies accountable. As governor he will appoint qualified and trustworthy people to run state agencies and personally monitor their effectiveness.

As state senator and state auditor Mike Foley has made a thorough study of every state agency. As auditor he has been relentless in ferreting out and eliminating waste in agency budgets. As governor Mike will apply that same tenacity to eliminate bloat and streamline operations, with the goal of lowering taxes and expanding needed services.

Mike believes that Nebraskans deserve to know where their hard-earned tax dollars are going. As governor he will keep us informed about how our money is being spent.
